That reminds me of the time I had to mud wrestle my dog in the pouring rain because she was chewing a dead one in the field next to my house...Oh wait, I know why I remember...BECAUSE IT WAS THIS MORNING!!!!

I'm not much on possum either, they move to slow to be a decent target! And the dog wants to keep treeing em' when we coon hunt, that really ticks me off. Ole' blue doesn’t do as much though since I tied that dead one around his neck for that week

Possum meat is very greasy, some folks eat them in this part of the world, pretty nasty in my view. The annual Possum Festival is in a little town about 30 miles from here and I plan to attend one of these years. If I am not mistaken, I believe the meat is dark not white.

Yea we don't do possom in my neck of the woods either but we have been known to fry up some gator every now and then
